Secrets of the City

Park Hyatt St. Kitts
Banana Bay, St. Kitts

It is said that St. Kitts is so fertile that even the monkeys are green, and you will see colonies of them scampering freely beside the roads and beaches. Their ancestors were the pets of 17th century French settlers, brought over from West Africa.

Additionally, The Narrows is a two mile wide straight that separates St. Kitts from its sister island of Nevis. Every spring a race is held across it for thrill-seeking swimmers from all over the world. The fastest time on record is 58 minutes, 9 seconds.
