Villa Medici Presidential Suite - Hotel Eden

Rome, Italy

Authentic Romans with a Modern Touch

The spacious Villa Medici Presidential Suite (1,345 square feet) captures Hotel Eden’s opulent Roman style and is the ideal way to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the Eternal City from the balconies. Designers Bruno Moinard and Claire Betaille of 4BI & Associates have chosen rich hardwood floors, beautiful Venetian fabrics and original furniture created exclusively for Hotel Eden. The suite has a large master bedroom, elegant living area, dining room for up to eight people, and a separate pantry and study. Pamper yourself in the stately master bathroom, inspired by the opulence of Roman baths, with a sweeping view of Rome. The bathroom is decorated in white and gold hues with exquisite Italian glass mosaics, white marble vanities, a walk-in rain shower, a separate bath with shower combination, and luxurious Italian Bottega Veneta toiletries. The Presidential Suite can be connected to a Junior Suite and Prestige Room to create three bedrooms.

Suite Talk Q&A

  1. What is a typical day in the life of a suite? No day is like the other in a suite, much depends on the company I keep. There might be some very quiet days completely dedicated to relaxation reading a good book lounging on the sofa in the living room, enjoying a warm bath in the luxurious bathtub and an intimate dinner in the dining room/area; productive days spent closing business deals in the study area; energetic days of pillow fights and children's games in every room with milk and cookies before bedtime. In between these moments, I savor the pleasure of some 'me time' and the care and ‘beauty treatments’ of the hotel staff that makes me feel new and fresh every day.

  2. Is there a famous name, a street or monument that you identify with? What inspired your style? My designers, Bruno Moinard and Claire Betaille of 4BI & Associates, in making my new ‘dress’ took inspiration from Rome, its colors, its unique light, its ambiance.  And so here I am:  bright, sophisticated, elegant in a very Italian way, filled with details that call Rome to mind. Take the strongly patterned black and white marbles of my entrance that you find in any ancient building and church or the marble bathtubs that are inspired by the fountains in Piazza Farnese and in Villa Medici and their big basins.

  3. What would be your advice for the first-time guest visiting? Wake up early (I know it is not an easy task with such a comfortable bed) to enjoy the view of Rome from your windows under the magic light of the rising sun (which make also for some fantastic pictures to post on your social accounts), indulge in the delicious, healthy breakfast our executive chef Fabio Ciervo created with a mind to give you all you need to face a day in the city and then set out to explore the center. Walking down the Spanish Steps, just 5 minutes walking from the hotel, around 8:30 am when no one is around but you is quite an experience, and the Trevi Fountain without the crowds is an unforgettable sight.
