Suite Talk Q&A

  1. What sets you apart from other suites in this city? In a city that is often thought of as traditional, I embrace a modern approach that celebrates American roots. Like the hotel, I celebrate American craftsmanship and design. I am built with warm woods and natural materials that makes me warm, comfortable, and inviting. I redefine modern luxury and elegance -- there is no one else like me. I break the mold and demonstrate that luxury does not mean stuffy. I hope all suites that come after me remember that luxury can be modern, dynamic, and classic. Luxury is personal.

  2. Is there a famous name, a particular street or monument that you most identify with? What inspired your style? Of course, it would be the Washington Monument. There is nothing that represents and celebrates the United States and Washington, D.C. more, and that is what I try to do as well.  Like me, the Washington Monument is both classic, all-American, and dynamically modern.

  3. Who was your all-time favorite guest? It would impossible to pick an all-time favorite guest as each guest brings something new with each stay.  I have hosted spiritual leaders, politicians, CEOs, rock stars, and the ultimate global travelers. I am the happiest when I see that my guests are happy and that their stay is all that they hoped for.
