Eternal Beauty In The Eternal City

The Royal Suite overlooks the historic Piazza della Repubblica. It embodies pure opulence and is considered the traditional home of monarchs, heads of state and celebrities. An entry hall leads to a beautiful living room with a grand piano. The suite has a master bedroom with a king bed, guest bedroom, two dressing closets and a marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi. The private dining room is furnished with a marble table that seats 12 and is served by a private kitchen and wine cellar. Louis XVI and Piedmontese furnishings complement the wine red, gold and green color scheme for a total of 300 square meters.

Suite Talk Q&A

  1. What is a typical day like in the life of a suite? Usually, I am hosting heads of states, international diplomacy, and celebrities from all over the world. Upon their departure, Guillame, my head Butler, does an excellent job cleaning me up and based on my guests’ preferences he chooses the freshest flowers, seasonal fruits and bespoke welcome amenities. Then I feel fresh and ready to be admired once again. I love when my guests appreciate my pieces of art and refined finishing touches.
  2. What would be your advice for a first time guest visiting? One of my favorite suggestions to capture the Ancient Roman essence is taking a stroll by the Fori Imperiali at sunset – just a few steps from the hotel.
  3. Who was your all-time favorite guest? Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and Maria Callas stayed more than once during their Roman stays…what an honor!
