Montage Deer Valley
Montage Deer Valley makes the most of its magical alpine setting. This high-end, American craftsman-style ski-in/ski-out resort is 3.8 miles from the center of Park City and 36.2 miles from Downtown Salt Lake City. Refined rooms feature beds with luxury linens, marble bathrooms with soaking tubs, free WiFi and flat-screen TVs, plus gas fireplaces, and balconies or terraces. 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom suites offer separate living areas and some have full kitchens and dining rooms. Eating options include a fine-dining restaurant, a burger bar, a sushi restaurant and a pub. There's also a vast spa, indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a fitness center, a ski/bike valet and a related mountain activities center.
Alpine Slides and Coasters
Thrill-seekers can head to Park City Mountain for three heart-pounding rides. The Alpine Slide is one of the longest slides in the world with more than 3,000 feet of track. The ZipRider is a zipline that soars 100 feet in the air over treetops at speeds up to 45 miles per hour. Or there’s the Alpine Coaster, a mountain track that flies more than a mile over curves, bends and hills. Adventure activities at Utah Olympic Park operate all summer long including two ziplines, featuring the Extreme Zip (one of the steepest ziplines in the world), the uniquely designed Alpine Slide, three adventure ropes courses and a special challenge called the Drop Tower. There are also nature trails throughout the venue.
