Beaches, temples, elephants…these are just a few of the things we love about Bali. From the lofty peaks of Bhutan to the breathtaking reefs surrounding Indonesia’s fabled Spice Islands, Aman seeks ways to make the world’s most remote destinations accessible, through exceptional, individually curated expeditions and adventures. Nusa Dua is on Bali’s southernmost peninsula, overlooking the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, where the vibrant districts of Sanur, Jimbaran, Kuta, Legian and Seminyak are all within easy reach. Once you lay eyes on Nusa Dua's stretch of white-golden sandy beaches, you will truly never want to leave. Fringed by many coral reefs, the white beaches are an idyllic setting for snorkeling, kayaking and sailing. Golfers will find paradise here, playing at one of Asia’s best courses. When the day is coming to a close, watch the breathtaking sunset from Uluwatu, an 11th century sea temple perched on a limestone outcrop. A tropical retreat like no other awaits you in Bali, with opportunities for insight, discovery and relaxation.
Views at Amanusa run from the adjacent Indian Ocean shoreline to sacred Mount Agung that dominates the far horizon on a clear day. The entrance to the lobby is a colonnaded open-air hall lined with baskets of white tuberoses. Framing the foyer is a teak sculpture illustrating scenes from the Ramayana, one of the two great epic poems of India. Amanusa has 35 thatched-roof suites linked by paved walkways, equipped with four-poster beds and round tables for private dining, a sunken indoor bath, outdoor shower, a garden courtyard and a terrace with a spacious canopied day bed. Eight suites have private swimming pools and a spacious terrace.
The Beach Club is located on the beachfront of the Bali National Golf Resort. The Beach Club consists of ten bales, each with two sun loungers. It is also a gorgeous setting for candlelit barbecues and sunrise breakfasts. The neighboring Bali Golf and Country Club, designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright, is recognized as one of Asia's top five courses. If a sensational spa experience is what you are seeking, trying indulging in the lulur body scrub, which combines an exfoliation and body-polishing treatment with a Balinese massage and herbal bath.
